  • You can book all of your reservations for the week upon arrival at check-in. We reccomend putting together a list of your favourite restaurants from the Dine Around page, and coming to the resort with an idea of where you want to eat each night. Please refer to the itinerary linked on the Get Started page to know when the free nights are to book reservations.

  • Dress Code applies in all the specialties restaurants. Business casual: No shorts, no sandals and no t-shirts.

  • You can take a taxi to Downtown Barbados (15-20 min transfer) where you can shop for souvenirs!

    For luxury name brand shopping and restaurants we suggest you go to Hole Town.

    All cabs can be booked at the front desk, but there will be a free shuttle all day on the day of the excursions if you decide to forego an excursion.

  • Yes! You can book additional excursions with Island Routes. These additional excursions will not be covered by Milwaukee and will be paid at the guest’s personal expense.

    Please see the link at the bottom of the excursion page on the website to pre-book additional excursions with Island Routes.

  • Please do not feel obligated to tip hotel/excursion staff but if you feel that you have recieved outstanding service, you are more than welcome to give extra tips.

  • Barbados accepts BBD currency and USD currency.

  • All plugs at the hotel should be the same as Canadian outlets, although the three pronged plugs may not be compatible.

  • Yes, all water and ice at the resort is safe to drink.

  • Yes, the ocean is safe to swim in! Enjoy the softest sand your feet have ever felt on the Sandals Royal Barbados beach!

  • Yes, Sandals Royal Barbados offers free wifi at all venues on resort property.

  • You should bring walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, extra spending money (if you want to visit the shops, etc.)
